Jazz –the (Jazz Loves Lili) music is forever

Music is made of sounds. The sounds which may individually be just sounds when combine yield ecstasy. As the number of sounds played simultaneously increase music becomes more intensified. It has a definite discernible rhythm. Drums are usually a part of it and that makes it so soothing. In Jazz the soloist has the freedom to play whatever he wants as long as he maintains the meter and stays in time. It is what makes Jazz Jazz. And an all time favorite for all music lovers.

You might be able to buy a little better booze than the wino on the corner. But you get sick just like the next cat and when you die you re just as graveyard dead as he is.

The memory of things gone is important to a jazz musician. Things like old folks singing in the moonlight in the back yard on a hot night or something said long ago.

When you re dead, you re done. I don t need words it s all in the phrasing.

If they act to hip, you know they can t play shit!

Hot can be cool, and cool can be hot, and each can be both. But hot or cool, man, jazz is jazz.

Never play anything the same way twice.

To jazz, or not to jazz, there is no question!
